Corkscrew Winemaster
Cutting the foil
-Place the foilcutter onto the bottle.
-Squeeze and turn the foilcutter simultaneously to cut the foil.
-Carefully replace the foilcutter on top of the corkscrew by squeezing it slightly.

Uncorking the bottle
-Make sure all the handles are in an upward position.
-Place the corkscrew on the neck of the bottle and pull the sleeve down firmly to lock the corkscrew onto the bottle.
-Move the small handles down to twist the spiral into the cork. If the bottle turns when the spiral enters the cork, move the small handles back up, pull the sleeve further down and start again.
-Then move the large handles down to pull the cork out of the bottle and unlock the sleeve.
-The cork can be removed by moving all the handles up simultaneously.

Please note that it is important to regularly check the special coating on the spiral. The spiral should be replaced when this special coating has worn out.

Replacing the spiral
-Make sure all the handles are in a horizontal position.
-Remove the foilcutter from the corkscrew.
-Slide off the lid on top of the corkscrew.
-Move the large handles down, small handles up to lift the spiral frame.
-Carefully remove this frame.
-Dismantle the frame, keep the stainless steel ball in place and replace the spiral.
-Move the large handles down, small handles up to place the spiral frame in the corkscrew. Focus on the center of the control unit.
-Place the lid back on top of the corkscrew.

Question: My WineMaster fails to unlock itself from the neck of the bottle. What should I do? Solution: To remove the WineMaster gently push the sleeve upwards using both thumbs. Do not attend to pull or twist the corkscrew from the neck of the bottle to avoid serious damage.

Question: Do I have to remove the foil or wax before opening the bottle? Solution: Yes, to avoid the mechanism getting stuck with remainders of foil or wax, it is important to remove both. Foil can be removed with the attached foil cutter.
